Weekends On The Cheap
Cheap flights has become a bit of a buzz phrase in the last few years, particularly thanks to two major UK companies, Easyjet and Ryanair. Even British Airways has been getting in on the act with their own offering.
What this means for us is a competitive, cut throat industry that provides exceptional deals for the consumers.
Recently, Ryainair announced a 30% off sale. Let’s stop and think about that for a moment. Taking thirty percent off something that cost very little already has to be insanity, but regardless, the Irish flyers have done exactly that.
Take a flight in September to Dublin from Stansted and you’ll get the flight for just £7 and it’s no different on the return journey, that’s £7 too. Ok, you have a ton of other charges to pay including the dreaded airport tax and Ryanair arent the best when it comes to charging for extras that should be essentials, things like fresh air. Joking aside, this still represents fantastic value for money.
Just trawl through a couple of comparison sites for. All you need is to trawl a good comparison site for Stansted Airport Hotels and then do the same for Dublin Airport Hotels and have the added bonus of not having far to get to the airport when your stay finishes. With attractive hotels and spa’s close by both airports, it’s not hard to see how having that elusive weekend break can become a reality. You aren’t restricted to Stansted either, with other airports providing excellent Airport Hotels on site too.
With prices of our food and luxury items increasing on an almost daily basis, perhaps it would be easier to sum up in real terms just how little it costs to fly to Dublin. Has there ever been a better time to treat you and the better half to a weekend break?. There really isn’t a better time for that weekend break you have been promising yourself for far too long.
