School openings just days away, and the campus is already taking special precautions to prevent the spread of the H1N1, swine flu. But tonight, Monday, it is still a few short days before the start of school, and the campus has lent out one of its lecture halls to a rather secretive yet prestigious meeting that had drawn VIPs from as far away as Minnesota. It was rumored, though not proven, that the keynote speaker for this event was Nikki Schwab, a young and upcoming reporter for the prestigious Nation & World section of the US News and World Report.
For Sam Tlecani, Director and chief driver of Pyramids Limo of Denver, a Denver Limo , and Denver Limousine service,
this was another limousine service fare. Earlier in the day, Sam received a call from the staff at the Deluxe Omni Hotel in Broomfield, Colorado. Broomfield, Co. is a bustling metropolitan area, 20 miles North of Denver City, and conveniently located between Denver International Airport, to the Southeast, and Boulder Colorado, to the Northwest. The city serves as a perfect stopping off point for visitors to the state traveling to and fro points north of Denver. It’s convenient distance from the airport means the possibility of bedding down early in the evening, after arriving at the airport, on a late flight. Its selection of fine hotels and restaurants, allows tourists to begin the luxury of a Colorado vacation from the first night. And Broomfield is situated in the foot hills of the Rocky Mountains so people coming to enjoy a ski weekend or summer vacation in the mountains get their first breath-taking view of the majestic mountain range, while still in Broomfield. And for people in the state on business, it’s an opportunity to visit the state without missing at least one glimpse of the mountains.
The party of four Sam was meeting this evening, were a grojup of VIPs who had traveled in from the state of Minnesota specifically to attend an evening conference being hosted at the University of Colorado at Boulder. A stay at the Omni Hotel,in Broomfield, was both close and convenient. Sam chose a SUV for this fare because a party of 4 is slightly too large for the town car. With its roomy seating and large interior, the SUV provides the ideal ride for a group of 4-5. Sam is a favorite at the OMNI hotel, and they frequently call him to take guests to destinations in and around the state. Tonight’s ride was a short hop up to Boulder from the hotel. The guests arrived in plenty of time and made arrangements to be picked up after the talk.
Later in the evening, Sam returned, and met the party as they were exiting the building. What ever had taken place inside was a mystery, and Sam learned nothing, about the evening, from the conversation of the mysterious but important guests from the state of Minnesota. From the University the party went to the PF Chang Restaurant, in Broomfield. PF Chang is a national chain combining traditional Chinese food with a modern bistro look. The guests were able to enjoy their Chinese cuisine in a dining area guarded by replicas of Terra Cotta warriors, unearthed from the tomb of China’s first emperor.
The guests made their own way back to the nearby hotel, but they must have been pleased with Sam’s service, as they requested that he pick them up the next morning to take them back to Denver International Airport, This was a fare, which is second nature to Pyramids Limo, a major provider of Denver Airport Transportation
