The Return Journey

It was Wednesday evening, and Pyramids Limo, a Denver Limousine service providing Denver Limo , Denver Car Service and Denver Airport Transportation Service, was called to Denver International Airport to pick up a regular fare, returning from San Francisco. It was only 2 1/2 days earlier that Sam Tlecani, the Owner and Chief driver of Pyramid’s limo dropped the fare off at the airport, in the morning. Monday morning airport rides are almost always Denver citizens traveling to other cities, for business. Midweek rides from the airport can be anything. This particular client is an executive with the Visa company, the world’s largest electronic payments network. San Francisco is headquarters for Visas largest corporate office. The Denver Visa office, is second or third in size, in the continental United States; apparently the company keeps this executive flying back and forth between the two major offices.

While this executive no doubt had little time to explore the many tourist wonders of the Golden Gate City, there is much that a visitor traveling for pleasure could see in the City by the Bay. The city boasts an amazing variety of boat tours, hand gliding and even a zeppelin tour of the harbor. The secrets of bay life are exhibited in a unique aquarium with large acrylic water tunnels that reveal underwater life in the Bay. And for variety, tourists can visit the Exploratorium, a unique, experimental, hands on science museum. Finally, tourists are invited to visit Ghiardellis and Pier 39, two of San Francisco’s largest shopping and market place experiences.

While her trip probably consisted of series of meetings, she may have had time to sample San Francisco’s many fine restaurants. Now, in any case, she was probably happy to be returning home.

One nice feature of meeting a regular client is the ease with which Sam can synchronize his arrival at the airport and his pickup of the passenger. As usual Sam checks online earlier in the day to be sure the plane is expected in on time. One of the nice features of an airport limo pickup is that the driver is bound to meet the fare, whenever the plane is due in.
The plane ride from San Francisco to Denver is 2 hours 26 minutes. On this day, the plane was expected in on time. The fare called Sam on his cell phone as soon as the plane landed, and Sam knew to wait for her at the limousine pickup area. Shortly thereafter, Sam pulled up, in his Lincoln town car, at the airport. She was out of the baggage area, and at the limousine pickup area by 9:30, an average wait for baggage checkout. The pickup was uneventful, and Sam had returned the executive to her home 1/2 hour later.

This was the last pickup of the day for Pyramid’s limousine, and Sam drove the Lincoln town car back to his office/home.

Sam returned the executive to her home, uneventfully, and then headed back to his home/office. It was the last pickup of the day.
