The beaches on Anglesey are some of the most picturesque in Wales. There is a little for everyone. There are shores where you can play sport or on the other hand quiet beaches where you will find peace and solitude. Benllech Beach has long been a family favourite. A slip way allows easy access to the long sandy beach and facilities found here include toilets, a café and a shop. The beach is also dog free during the summer months.

Another firm favourite with watersports enthusiasts is Rhosneigr Beach. The beach is thought to be one of the best in the country for windsurfing and surfing. The beach is long and sandy which also makes it an ideal choice for families with children. The town beach is near to all the local facilities.
Llandwyn Beach, Newborough is long and sandy and is backed by dunes. It boasts spectacular views of Snowdonia National Park and the Lleyn Peninsular. It is one of the loveliest beaches on the Isle of Anglesey.
Church Bay Beach is a great place for collecting stones. A nearby lobster restaurant is especially recommended. Church Bay gets its name from the Llanrhuddlad Church which can be seen from the sea.
Red Wharf Bay is a delightful area with lots of facilities including a café and a pub. It has two beaches with one being reached through the caravan park. The main beach is sandy and is sheltered by the hills.
Llanddona Beach is a long sandy beach located at the eastern end of Red Wharf Bay. The beach is a good place for sunbathing, walking and paddling. Facilities found here include toilets, a café and shop.
Penmon has an award winning beach and the Anglesey Coastal Path runs along its shores. There are many places of interest to visit from here including very old monuments and lighthouses.
Trearddur Bay, on Holy Island,is a long sandy beach suitable for families and those wishing to sail, canoe, dive or water ski.
