The Pain In Spain Is Mainly On The Plane

On some flights to Spain, we all know that we will have to sit next to people that we would rather avoid. Bearing this in mind, it is still not a reason to accept any pain when involved in a walking holiday in this part of the world.
Whenever I here conversation about walking holidays anywhere in the world, people seem to react in a similar way – they don’t really fancy the aches and pains. I suppose you can’t blame them for that – after all, isn’t a holiday supposed to be about pampering yourself? It is definitely true, never more so than when thinking of the lovely beaches at Spain’s disposal. If you are a fan of active holidays, you may like to think differently. it may benefit you to prepare well before you begin your epic journey, especially if you have chosen a walking holiday. Good common sense and time-honoured principles, can eliminate the painful problems associated with walking.
One of my favourite methods of protecting my feet, for example, is to reach for the ubiquitous Vaseline or Neutrogena foot cream. Put plenty on before putting on your socks and you will see that it works very well. I you do find that you have got an unbroken blister, it is advisable to use some alcohol to clean it and then pop it with a sterilised pin or needle. Drain the fluid and apply some standard antibiotic cream, covering finally with a plaster, sports tape or second skin. This maintenance is all you need to understand to be prepared for another day on the trail.
Another problem common to some walkers and runners is losing a toenail. It shouldn’t be something to worry about, as it doesn’t hurt much and will soon grow again. To avoid this happening, it is best to keep your toenails short so that do not chafe against your shoes.
Pura-Aventura offer a range of tailor-made and self drive holidays which allow you to take part in the experience of a lifetime. There is masses to gain, and there doesn’t have to be pain
