Cruising Holiday Versus Flying Holidays
Are you a cruising person or a flying person? But there is obviously a reason behind people choosing to fly or cruise to holiday. People looking to go on luxury cruises are happy being at the same place for 7 to 10 days when they are on a cruising holiday. When you fly to a country for holiday you have options, you can visit different places in that country or stay in the same place, but most people tend to visit different towns. When you are cruising on a ship, it only stops for half a day or few hours and then sails to its next destination, which doesn’t give you enough time to enjoy the city.
Let’s take an example and say you want to go on holiday in August on a bank holiday weekend. You can’t really go there on a cruise because it will probably take you three days to get there and that’s your holiday over? Well if book official holidays from work then yes you can but only for 3 days cruising is not the best option. These are the times when you are looking for quick getaway to a different European city which you haven’t seen or visited before. That is my way of travelling though. A lot of people like going to a place where they have been previously. For me I like going to a new city every time.
This winter I am planning to go to Caribbean but this would be a cruise trip and first time I won’t be flying anywhere. I am taking cunard cruises from a dock in Barcelona to the Caribbean Islands. This cruise trip will last 20 days and is costing me upto £2,000, which is not bad to be honest. To be honest I got a fantastic deal as I won a competition in which Cunard cruise lines were giving away 30% off their cruise tickets. I also would like to travel in regent cruises because of the biggest cruise ship in the World, that would definitely be interesting.
